Lawrence-Lawson Bookmobile will be out Thursday (July 12)

Sparta Area School District students are getting books at local parks, schools and community centers this summer thanks to the Lawrence-Lawson Bookmobile.
The Bookmobile makes four stops on designated Thursdays to offer children books for check-out and story time and literacy activities led by school staff.
“This is a way to get books to kids. Studies show how important it is to have books in the hands of kids,” said Darla Schroeder, Lawrence-Lawson Library Media Specialist.
The Bookmobile will be out Thursday, July 12, with Principal Missy Herek sharing a special story with all students. Mrs. Perz and Ms. Thoftne will join her.
Stops will include:
9:30 a.m.: Lawrence-Lawson Elementary School
10:30 a.m.: West Side Park
11:45 a.m.: Lugar De Reunion
1 p.m.: Gomez Park (Sugarberry/ River Road Area)
