Mobile food pantry stopping in Monroe County

If you’re finding it tough to make ends meet, mobile food pantries can help you put food on the table at no cost to you. Every month, Second Harvest delivers truckloads of free food to locations in Monroe County as well as Adams, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock and Sauk counties. A mobile food pantry provides fresh and non-perishable groceries once a month to a neighborhood site at a scheduled time for immediate distribution to residents. You can expect to receive 50 to 75 pounds of food for your household at any Second Harvest mobile food pantry.

Locations and times in Monroe County are:
Cashton: The third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Center, 812 Main St.
Norwalk: The last Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. at the Community Center, 200 North St.

To locate additional mobile food pantries, please call 2-1-1. For more information or referral or to talk to someone at Second Harvest Foodbank, call (608) 223-9121. Additional information is also available at www.secondharvestmadison.org.
