The Montessori Citizen’s Academy will meet Tuesdays, Oct. 16, 23 and 30 at Lakeview Montessori. The Academy will from
6:45 to 7:45 p.m. and focus on topics related to Montessori education. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Attendees will learn about E1 (Elementary 1, grades 1-3) on Oct. 16. The adults will be able to experience a
shortened day of an E1 child. This session will be followed by another classroom experience Oct. 23 at Meadowview Intermediate room D104. This session will focus on E2 (Elementary 2 grades
4-6).
The Oct. 30 meeting will return to Lakeview Montessori to review previous sessions. The first sessions discussed Montessori philosophy and Children's House.
